How it sits
Merchant of record
Members pay the club, in your app and on your pages. Clubs can ask new members to start a paid membership to join, or let them book as non-members. Soft past-due — privileges drop, nobody gets locked out of the building by a webhook.
If the club's own plan goes unpaid after Stripe's retries, booking and payments pause until the card is updated. Nothing is deleted.
